The Artisan

Felimon, The Artisan about usFelimon Cacanog Jugalbot started making furniture’s at an early age. He made his first chair furniture when he was in grade 5 as a school requirement. At the age of 21 he was exposed to different carpentry works being employed in different construction companies.

After this experience, he went freelancing building residential houses, doing carpentry, plumbing, electrical works by requests from relatives, friends and neighbors. Through this and the power of word-of-mouth he made it as a way of living.

By the early 80’s he was employed in the energy sector in a contractual basis and was assigned to the various parts of the country. Through the abundance of Pine wood crates from the imported equipment’s he manufactured round table dining sets out of it for friends and co-worker families.

Life was a bit hard during those times. He was not accepted as a regular employee and decided to continue freelancing doing what he does best; building residential houses,  manufacturing made-to-order furniture’s and others to earn a living.

This way of living he was able to provide for his family. Send his 4 kids to college until they graduated.

Up to now at the age of 74 he continues to manufacture made-to-order furniture’s.
